  1. Launch an internet browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari).
  2. Navigate to myaccount.bw.edu

    NOTE: You may be asked to sign in and provide MFA (multi-factor authentication). If so, enter your BW email address and password.

    If you need help signing into myaccount.bw.edu, please see Troubleshooting at the end of this page.

  3. Once logged in, find the Password widget and click Change Password



  4. Enter your current password, then enter a strong password and then retype your new password to confirm.
  5. Press Next.



  6. You're done! Your password is reset. You can now sign in to all BW Resources with your new password.

Troubleshooting

  • I forgot my password and can’t sign in to change it.
    1. Please navigate to mypassword.bw.edu.
    2. Enter your BW email address and the characters displayed on the screen.
    3. Select I forgot my password and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • I know my password is correct, but I still can’t sign in.
    1. Your account may be locked; follow the below steps to unlock your account.
    2. Please navigate to mypassword.bw.edu.
    3. Enter your BW email address and the characters displayed on the screen.
    4. Select I know my password but can't sign in.
    5. You can follow the on-screen instructions to unlock your account.
  • I tried both of the above steps but still need help signing in.
    1. Please call the IT Support Center at 440-826-7000 so we can investigate.
