TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Mobile Jacket Express Card (MJEC) is the property of Baldwin Wallace University and is issued for the cardholder’s use only.
- Non-Transferable: The MJEC is non-transferable. Lending your MJEC or using someone else’s MJEC violates University regulations and may result in card deactivation and loss of privileges.
- Responsibility for Use: Cardholders are responsible for all transactions made with their MJEC until the account is deactivated or closed. Lost or stolen cards must be deactivated immediately, and cardholders may be held accountable for any unauthorized transactions before deactivation.
- Non-Refundable Funds: Funds in Jacket Express accounts are non-refundable.
- Balance Carryover:
- Dining Dollars: Balances carry over from fall to spring semester but are forfeited at the end of the academic year.
- Jacket Pay: Balances carry over from semester to semester until graduation, withdrawal, or one year of inactivity, after which any remaining funds are forfeited.
- Account Restrictions:
- No cash withdrawals are allowed.
- Jacket Express accounts cannot be used for dues, fees, or memberships.
- Overdrafts: Overdrawing accounts is not permitted. Any insufficient balance will be billed to the cardholder’s student account.
- Third-Party Information Disclosure: The University will only share account details with third parties to comply with court orders or applicable laws or if the cardholder provides written consent.
- Expiration: The MJEC and accounts expire upon termination of enrollment. The University reserves the right to suspend card activity due to financial or academic issues.
- Liability: The University is not responsible for loss, theft, or misuse of the MJEC.
By activating the account, the cardholder agrees to these terms and conditions.
