Received a New Phone Over the Holiday?
If you get a new phone over the holidays, please follow the steps below to ensure continued access to buildings and your BW email account.
Steps to Reset Your Authenticator App:
- Visit myaccount.bw.edu and sign in using your backup MFA method.
- Go to Security Info.
- Delete your old authenticator app.
- Click “Add a new sign-in method” and select the Authenticator app.
To Restore Your BW ID in Apple Wallet:
- Launch the GET Mobile App.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap “Unlink Mobile Wallet ID.”
- Tap Home.
- Tap “Add to Wallet.”
Once you've completed these steps, your BW ID will be fully set up on your new device.
Important Reminder:
The IT Support Center will be closed from December 20th to January 6th. Completing the above procedures before erasing your old device will make sure you do not lose access to your BW email account.
