If the blue Register button in My Records > Student Planning > Go to Plan and Schedule is grayed out and unclickable, or if you don’t see a Register button, it may be for one or more of the following reasons:
- You have not selected a section.
- Watch this Student Planning: How To video beginning at 6:12 for instructions.
- The add period has passed.
- See the Academic Calendar for deadlines.
- To add a course after the add period, complete the Class Add Form and submit it to the Office of Registration & Records after it has been approved and signed by the department chair. This form is found on the Registration & Records Jacket Connect page; click Registration Forms at the top of the page.
- You have not met the prerequisite(s).
- Department chairs and specially designated faculty can complete a Requisite Waiver Approval form on Forms Central (Etieve) under Registration & Records. Students do not have access to this form.
- Your registration time has not passed.
- If you don’t know your registration time and where to find it, read this article.
- You have not been released to register by your advisor.
- Meet with your advisor to approve your schedule and release you to register.
- You have not accepted the required agreements in My Records.
- Click your username and select Required Agreements.
- You have not confirmed your emergency information in My Records.
- Click your username and select Emergency Information.
- You have not confirmed your user profile information in My Records
- Click your username and select User Profile.
- You have not paid your balance.
- Visit the Cashier Jacket Connect page for information regarding payments and payment options.
- Visit BW’s Resolve Registration Hold webpage for steps on how to resolve a registration hold.
